一千多年前
种桑养蚕、缫丝纺织技术
从祖国内陆一路向西传入新疆
催生出独具西域特色的丝绸——艾德莱斯
因为梦幻般的丰富色彩
被赋予“布谷鸟的翅膀花”
意味着有它的地方，就有春天
经纬之间的绮丽色彩
艾德莱斯丝绸幅宽仅40厘米
长度6.5米为一匹
完成一匹艾德莱斯绸需要历经
5道 工艺：缫丝、扎经、染色、整经、织绸
其中最具特色的是扎经染色工艺
艾德莱丝绸色彩缤纷绚丽
纹样设计已达到三十多个品种
以及一百余种旁系与分系
灵感源自丰富的花草植物、壮丽的自然风貌
多样的生活器物以及浓厚的民族风情

历史上的和田是丝绸之路南路的交通要道
也是重要的丝绸贸易中心
素有“绢都”的美名
