1月7日，西藏日喀则市定日县发生6.8级地震。

8日下午，西藏日喀则地震发布会通报：截至1月8日12时，已检测到646次余震，最大余震4.4级，地震已造成126人遇难、188人受伤，目前已转移受灾群众4.65万人。

目前，灾区工作已由紧急救援转为群众安置阶段，且灾区处于隆冬季节、高寒缺氧、路途遥远，救援队伍已饱和，非灾区民间救援队等社会组织和志愿者，在现阶段未经审批，请不要自行前往灾区。

首轮补贴已到账

7日起，多所高校密集发布紧急通知，因地震灾情导致出现临时经济困难的学生，可向学校申请补贴。

8日上午，大连理工大学发放的首轮补贴已到账！

地震发生后，大连理工大学通过生源地信息、身份证代码区域匹配以及家庭住址等信息，确认了19名家住日喀则市的学生，于1月8日上午为每位学生发放了1000元的首轮临时补贴。

据悉，首轮补贴发放后，大连理工大学将于1月10日初步完成学生家庭受灾情况统计，再进一步结合实际情况予以分类资助。

此外，西安交通大学第一时间募集2000条棉被，驰援西藏地震灾区，帮助受灾群众解决生活急需。
