A Lovely Boy
A boy lives near my house but never know his name. Every day, he will bring some food for the homeless dogs and cats. Sometimes when i pass by, i see what he does. He is so kind that i decide to make friends with him. He is talkative and he has a lot of funny things to share. What a lovely boy!
An Old Man
Today, when i went home after school, my bike broke suddenly, and then i found there were no friends around. An old man saw my problem. Then he came close to me and helped me to check my bike. With his help, my bike was fixed and i could ride it home. I was so lucky, and i was so thankful to him. I wish him happiness forever.
City Cleaners
Every morning, when i go to school, i always see some people wearing orange colours and sweeping the street. They are city cleaners. They are easily to be ingnored by the public, because they work early in the morning, when most people are sleeping at home. Thanks so them, the public environment is so clean, which brings people great comfort. City clearners deserve our great respect, so some people will buy them drinks in the hot weather. The news reported about how people show respect to these lovely people. We are happy to see the public's attention to ordinary workers.
The Postman
Every morning, my mother will check on the mail box to see if there are letters. I know the postman well. He is a young man and he is very kind. He is doing this job for two years and he enjoys what he does. I admire him because he will deliver the message on time, even though it is raining.
The Volunteer
The other day the TV reported that retired maths teacher, Beth Smith, has been volunteering for the past 20 years at United Nation's refugee camp in Thailand, helping kids who cannot afford to go to school learn maths and English. I was deeply touched when i watched the story, especially when the reporter asked Beth why she spent all her time in a third world country for volunteering. She replied, " By helping these kids, I feel i'm doing good things for society, so i feel happy." Her answer made me realize that helping others is a kind of virtue, and i realize that she is true hero in my heart.
Firemen
Do you have a hero in your life? Maybe you hero is a famous singer, a movie star or a great man. But my hero is the fireman. In my heart, the fireman is a very noble job because firemen save people's lives in the danger of fire. Each time they take risks of their own lives. As long as there is a warning, firemen will rush into the danger zone to protect the people's body and property. Firemen don't just fight fire. In some accidents, when human lives are threatened, firemen will come forward to save people rapidly.
The Shop Assistant
Last week, when i went home after school, i went to a shop to buy something to drink. Then when i went out of the shop, i found my book lost. I felt so worried and went back to the shop. The shop assistant helped me to look around for the book. Finally, she found the book in the corner. I felt so thankful to her. She was such a nice girl.
